Master 1/72 B-17 .50 .Cal barrels
The questions “is it durable” or “is it entertaining” put forth by EBay really don’t apply here. This is a very delicate set of 13 brass 1/72 scale .50 cal. barrels. They are designed to replace the barrels in any 1/72 B-17 kit, but could be used for any 1/72 US WWII bomber. They consist of a finely cast inner barrel with a delicately perforated sleeve, designed to replace the kit plastic barrels with much more realistic barrels. They are really intended for the discerning model builder, to take a stock 1/72 kit B-17 to the next level of detail. As such, these are not really intended for beginners, and will require a good set of magnifiers, the ability to drill fine openings in the kit parts, and some skill in model building. Highly recommended for accomplished builders, not recommended for novices.
