Better than expected.
Tried it right off the bat on an old .25 cal. Galesi pistol that hasn't been shot or cleaned in over 15 years. Bear-claw style mag release was all but frozen with the empty mag in place., Finally got it out and then started disassembling the pistol. Dry and nasty. Tempted to dunk all of it in a light weight oil but decided to see if the Slip2000 was up to the job. After letting the pistol sit overnight on newspaper I was stunned that the slide was easy to rack; the disassembly pin; which also acts as the 'safety' turned freely and I took the gun apart. No problem.. After giving it a good brushing with an old toothbrush and wiping it good and clean with a red mechanic cloth I reassembled it. Even the magazine spring and follower were smooth. The firing pin was nice and springy so I loaded 4 cartridges up; put my heaviest leather glove on and walked out on the back porch. I was stunned that it not only fired and ejected the spent shells but the slide was nice and smooth. Even some of the original bluing was now visible under all that red neglect. Took the little pistol completely apart and gave it as detailed attention as I do my Ruger SR9c. If the Slip2000 can handle the Galesi I have no doubt it's capable of any other maintenance chores on any gun.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Gun Lube
First lube I ever used that does not allow carbon to stick. after shooting a simple wipe down removed all carbon without needing cleaner on parts. Noticeable ease charging slide. No noticeable dust or lint stocking from pocket carry and no noticeable thinking due to caring in the cold 8 degrees for hours. If this lube really has the benefits to high impact wear and heat as advertised only time will tell. But as of right now seems to be the best lube I have ever used on my handguns. Can't live without it
I have had great success with slip 2000 lubricant, I run it in all my guns, just a little bit will keep your gun running. I ran my ar15 a lot started having problems loading, put the slip 2000 in and ran another 200 rounds without issues. Slip 2000 is Slick
They should call this stuff "slick" 2000. I don't know what's in it, but it surely is slippier (is that an actual word?) than any other gun CLP/oil I've used over the years. Time will tell about its anti-corrosion properties. But it does dissolve carbon upon contact and leaves a very slick surface.
