When I got this I washed all the pieces so there would not be any problems with debris or whatever. The blade and mincer were made of raw steel and rusted after I washed them. The rust would not come off. This would have caused a health issue if I tried to grind anything. I never used it since the primary parts were full of rust. They should redesign it using an aluminum alloy so you won't have the rust issue.
