    Super Sound

This Rockville RPM 109 powered mixer has the best sound of any other one I have ever heard. Also, it is the most versatile of any I have ever seen. The sound is just super on every song I play. There are plenty of 1/4" and XLR jacks for microphones and instruments. I play all my music from a Laptop connected to one of the 2 stereo (left & right) connections. Also, I can use the RCA jacks for a CD player and the USB or SD card to play MP3 or WAV files directly from those ports. These makes it easy when I need to DJ music. It has enough power to use for outdoor events. There are many great features to use to shape the sound. This mixer just blows away my old 500 watt amplifier. Definitely one of the best investments I have ever made. I would absolutely recommend this mixer to anyone who wants their music to sound professional.

  • Top critical review

Worked OK using an external effects processor.

PROS: A lot of features. Especially given the price point. CONS: The effects are unusable. The reverbs have no decay at all and the delays sound very bad and lo-fi. I sent the first one back thinking mine was defective. The second one was the same way. I've only used the unit once as of now, but had to use an external effects processor and bypass the on board effects. Fortunately the unit does have an effects send on it or I wouldn't have been able to use it at all.

  • Great Features

We used this for the first time this past weekend. Output to four Peavey PR12 speakers at an outdoor event and this unit provided plenty of power. We are very happy with our purchase.

  • Does the job well

This product went int a funeral home. Is will not be traveled with or moved. It fit the needs of having the ability to zone the music and speaking by using the mains as one zone and monitor as another. As a travel unit the pots are a little sloppy in construction. This may or may not be a problem for someone using it as a travel rig. Power is sufficient to handle mid size speakers small to mid size venues.

  • Rockville PA

This is a very powerful amplifier. Had a Peavey before but just couldn't afford to purchase a new one after the used one was having trouble with a output channel. So I had to try this Rockville since I had purchased a car audio powered cylinder woofer which sounds really good. So that's what made me take the decision on purchasing this Rockville powered amplifier. Absolutely 💯% satisfaction 👌

  • Well worth the price for a simple powered mixer.

I own two of them. Our band gigs mostly in local pubs and wine bars. I would say small to medium venues. This mixer has lots of clean power, I seldom use more than about 1/2 power. I run it as a main/monitor split. I need the Graphic EQ because the main singer insists on it being loud and I need the EQ to control feedback. It does the job well. We can get the stage volume "too loud". There is only one thing I wish it had that it doesn't, that is two sets of speaker outs for each channel. But I use a Speakon Y splitter and 8 ohm speakers for the mains. Works fine -- it would be nice if I didn't need the splitter. Have not tried it with a powered monitor -- I like the result I have with the passive monitor(s). PS - I have Connie's Covers making me a cover -- so she will have the pattern soon. Best covers around :-). Put some "jammies" on your gear, you won't regret it.

  • Questionable B-stock

Bought item described as re-furbished new B-stock. When I took it out of the box the front panel fell out of the casing. All 4 screws that held the front panel in the box were missing. Obviously whomever repaired it and packaged it didn't take the time to put it back together properly. I had to go to Home depot and buy a bag of proper screws to secure the panel myself. I've yet to hook it up to my system to even see if it functions properly.

  • Rockville powered mixer RPM109

This is a good powered mixer for the price, the Bluetooth connection doesn't seem to work with my phone but the USB port works fine. Yes the fans are audible but not a deal breaker for our band. Time will tell how reliable the unit holds up.

  • Just got this PA...and the jury is still out.

I literally just got this PA today. I have been tweaking it for a while tonighy, and honestly, the 16 onboard digital effects do not sound that good. They all produce a tin can-type sound when effects volumes are increased. I have a 4-yr old Behringer PMP 2000 with 99, 24-bit onboard digital effects that sound so much better. Also, this PA's bluetooth receiver will NOT connect to my ipad's bluetooth for anything. My phone's bluetooth...no problem. Honestly, I'm not impressed and may return it.
