Title says. Better then expected for a reason ! First off very well made constitution, The pistol retention is outstanding , but ease enough to draw with out hang ups. My pistol has a 4 1/2 inch barrel which left more shealth then needed so I was able mine. down for less hang down . For Ruger MK III Target with Leupold M8 2x.
For Ruger MK III Target with Leupold M8 2x had to cut the top a little to allow the pistol with the scope to go all the way in. Took 1 minute on the bandsaw. Higher mounts would have worked too but I didn't want them. Also switching it to left handed took 5 minutes and was easy. The holster looks very military AND FITS THE PISTOL PERFECTLY. Easy to adjust the draw tension. I would have preferred a nice leather holster, but nothing is available in left handed with a scope.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a great retention holster. It fits my Ruger Mark 3 with red dot well. The gun is not coming out unless you really try. This is not a quick draw holster. The only down side is the belt loops are very large. It looks like it will take a 2 1/2 inch belt. Wish there was a way to reduce that so the holster does not move around on the belt so much. Awesome holster, best design ever!!! I have kydex and plastic holsters that cost five times more and aren't as well designed, or better built. This fits the MKII I have perfectly, and mine has a .920 match barrel, and all the Volqartzen parts in it. This holster is exactly what I wanted. I got the low ride model . It is perfect for a man my size (5' 8") The high ride would have been difficult for me to draw from . I put the holster on a gun belt . This requires you to get a pair of "belt keepers" in order to keep the belt from riding up as you draw the pistol. Read the manufacturers description before purchasing
The item description needs to be updated with more accurate information. It should state, "will work with most suppressors 1" or smaller in diameter". After I received the holster and my Rugged Oculus wouldn't fit, I dug a little deeper to find that it shouldn't.
