I'VE ONLY LOADED IT ABOUT 25 TIMES. WOW. IT IS VERY HARD TO LOAD. ONCE THE PELLET IS LOADED, THE MUZZLE VELOCITY IS VERY FAST. I CAN HEAR THWACK - THWACK WITH EACH SHOT. HOPEFULLY AS I USE IT MORE, THE LOADING PART WILL BECOME EASIER. I HAVE TO USE TO HANDS TO POP THE BARREL. MAYBE I'M TOO OLD FOR THIS RIFLE BUT ONCE IT IS LOADED, EXCELLENT VELOCITY. WORTH THE PRICE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS IF IT WAS EASIER TO LOAD.

This is one of my first .22 air rifles. I own 3 now and this one boasts the highest velocity and I have always been fond of Crossman. I'm no expert but this is an accurate rifle that packs that extra punch when you need it. It's ergonomically well thought out and requires minimal effort for the breakbarrel cocking mechanism. I haven't mounted the scope but prefer old fashioned sights and have not been disappointed. Conclusion: good pedigree, nice punch and accurate.
