Rope lights are fine. Connector parts are not.
Pro's and cons about lights. The rope lights are fine as far as brightness and installing. The problem I had with them was trying to connect them to extend length. The power connectors used to connect two rope lights together were not the same dimensions as the rope light insert holes. Had to use pliers to squeeze insert pins together and then force them in which is very difficult if you are not very strong. I have ordered more power connectors from another source, and hope they are correct. I've spent my ;entire working career as a machinist, so I know when parts are not correct. Once you get them connected, all is well. Conclusion: Rope light strings are fine, connector parts are not.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product for our application - Rented party tent
We rented a 20' x 30' party tent for a family B-day party. We opted out of the rope lights provided by the party company (their cost $1/ft). We bought this instead and strung them under the metal roof supports. We used all 100' in one section -- making a big square loop inside the tent. The lighting was perfect -- not too harsh but bright enough for eating, talking and stuff. Not bright enough for office space -- but great for party space. Light reflected off the white plastic (PVC?) walls of the tent ... giving nice ambience lighting. Lights are cool to the touch -- minimizing concern over shorting / fire.

Very nice
I thought these lights would be cheaply made. Boy, was I wrong. These lights are well made. I put them on my fence in my yard and they light up nicely even giving my dogs extra light at night. They are Very brigbt Lights and they work great to light a walk way are as we did light up around are 5th wheel travel trailer very well built and easy to unroll and roll up have only.used once and performed very well and would highly recommend the two photos show how bright the lights are they are sitting approximately 2' below the leaf blower so you can see how bright they are and they are also this bright unrolled
