A completely useless piece of junk.
First, I still own the original USA made version of this jewelers screwdriver set so I have something to compare to. The screwdriver blades on the 30 year old one are now dull but the handle and its collet-mandrel were made perfectly. The new version from General Tools is made in China, and unlike many well made items from China, this is complete junk. The collet-mandrel is no longer machined; it is cast. The hole in the end which holds the screwdriver blades is so off center that it is completely unusable. Also the threads on the handle and also the threads inside of the collet-mandrel were not machined; they were simply molded. I needed to use a pliers to be able to tighten it. But the screwdriver blade is so tilted that it is unusable. I will attach 2 photos. The seller was kind enough to send me a 2nd one which arrived tonight. Unfortunately it was made as poorly as the first one so it too is unusable. I will report this to General Tools.
