It's okay to learn on and see if you are interested in playing this type of instrument, Very easy to play and sounds okay. The strings are of poor quality and needs retuned often . The wood work is poor. You get what you pay for. If you shop around for a few bucks more there are some really nice ones for around $30. more. Bottom line ,spend a little more for a better instrument.

I think I got this one for something like $20 dollars. And I guess you get what you pay. Its ok for a very casual/kids usage, but I felt the notes do not sound crisp. The C major notes don't sound crisp. The D keeps sounding like D flat. The main issue I felt was that the strings keep getting loose easily, and thus tend to get out of tune. So you need to keep re-tuning it every now and then. But for a casual strumming, maybe its not so bad..

Unbeatable deal! Plays well, and is well made, too. Glad I purchased it.
