Great Value! Deep Tone!!
I bought a new 6.2 GM truck and it literally had almost no exhaust note whatsoever. It has these really nice dual tips built into the bumper and yet sounded like nothing. That just wasn’t going to work for me, but the last thing I wanted to do after dropping major coin on the new truck was spend another $1500 on a new cat-back exhaust system. I found this and figured for the price point it was worth a try. I’m pretty mechanically inclined with a decent set of tools so I attempted this myself and was successful. If you don’t have a good saw, pry bars and a grinder to bevel the edges of the factory system you’d be better off taking it to an exhaust shop. I installed this in my garage in about 2 hours following the instructions to the letter. Once you get all the piping slipped back onto the hangers you have even more exhaust ground clearance and it’s very solid. The factory muffler is the biggest I’ve ever seen. As for the sound.....it’s perfect to me. You leave the front exhaust valve so it’s quiet at an idle once warm so there’s no struggle being heard in a drive thru for example. Once you get on the gas it sounds fantastic with a really deep tone and no drone inside the cab. I highly recommend this muffler delete pipe if you’re wanting a strong V8 sound that won’t break the bank.

Great sound!
I wanted something not too loud and not too quiet, cutting out the muffler and keeping the rear baffles made the sound absolutely perfect for me. There is NO drone on the highway and the sound when I put my foot down is amazing. Love the sound of my truck now!
