Does exactly what it says
I drive a 2016 Tacoma SR, and the first thing I noticed was that the gas pedal was VERY "spongy", or rather it took me pressing it almost halfway in to really accelerate. Not only was this frustrating, but potentially a safety hazard. I resorted to using the ECT button all the time, which gave the gas pedal a little more responsiveness, but it still didn't seem RIGHT... That's when a little research led me to the Pedal Commander... Simply put, this does exactly what they say it does. After a 5 minute, tops, installation, you have the ability to set your gas pedal to respond exactly as you need it to. It's pretty straightforward, but there are easy to follow instructions included that make it simple to figure out. I believe there are 4 modes with 8 different settings, so everyone is pretty much guaranteed to find the right level of pedal responsiveness that will work for them. I'm super happy that I made the purchase!

Set it and leave it!
I bought this product for one purpose and one purpose only! To rid my truck of it's terrible lag! I researched this product over and over and decided to leave it at it's sweet spot which is City +2. This is the setting I will leave on for the life of this device, I do not plan to switch modes or mess with the ECU. Follow installation procedures, find the setting you want and leave at that forever! Do this and you won't have issues.
