Similar to Chrysler's offering for the 03-08 Dodger trucks this Borgeson “Dodge Box” offers the largest piston diameter for the most available power assist and a modern variable valve that allows for stable highway driving and effortless parking and maneuvering. Borgeson has adapted the pitman shaft to be compatible with all OEM and dropped pitman arms that fit the stock box. The Borgeson conversion box is a new modern integral power steering gearbox. This gearbox represents the latest generation of integral power steering gearbox technology with true modern power steering feel, feedback and a quicker ratio. Borgeson has adapted this box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm.

Borgeson steering box was not worth the money
I just installed this borgeson steering box in my 04 dodge cummins and it is leaking from the top bolts. I have tried to reach out to the company to resolve the issue and as of yet still have had no response.I wanted to go with the Red head steering box but had been recommended the Borgeson steering box for a little more money.I had thought Borgeson was of better quality than it has been and should not been leaking when I bought it brand new.I would not recommend a Borgeson for the amount of money they cost, you could find something comparable.

Good quality but at the end, it’s not worth the price you end up paying!! Beware!!!
Got this box to replace my OEM because of more power for heavier tires. Got it fast but guess what, IT IS NOT AN ENTIRELY OEM FIT!! Like it states on listing. YOU HAVE TO GET A NEW STEERING SHAFT FOR $255.60 so at the end I ended up paying almost $950.00 that’s $300 over the Mopar original part!! Not very happy really!!! If I’ve known about this before purchase, I just would’ve gone with the original Mopar part!!

It is definitely beefier than stock.
It is a good quality part and as stated is much heavier duty than the stock part. Although it does have some play in it that is noticable.
