So, I bought this motherboard as an upgrade to my system. I was coming from an ASUS P9X79 LGA 2011 motherboard. It had both bios flashback AND onboard RAID. This brand new motherboard which is Z790 has neither onboard RAID or bios flashback. I bought it because it was one of the only motherboards that said it supported PCIe 5.0 and M.2 5.0, however even that is a disappointment. Apparently, if you use the M.2 5.0 slot it cuts the channels on the PCI slot down from x16 to x8. What the heck! Pretty much you wont get the full power out of this motherboard no matter what. Now, with that being said, if your goal is to not future proof your setup, then by all means go with this board. Do not expect to one day be able to put in a m.2 5.0 nvme ssd and a GPU that is also pci 5.0. You will have to choose. Read full review

Nice and clean, looks and feels high quality. At first I thought the ethernet port was faulty but I learned I had to download and intall them from a secondary computer via usb. All in all, a great product, I'm using this mobo for my next gen build. Also, the mobo has enough space at the bottom to fit my sound card that uses a pcie slot. It fits even with the rtx 40 series installed.
