What I love about this c.d. is that this captures Exciter in all their glory/ and heyday. The album starts out like a bullet from a gun, and continues on its path, until you're lying on the floor, flattened. I also have this album, so I was aware of all of Dan Beehler's total madman, maniacal drum-pounding, Alan Johnson's bass grinding with lightning speed, and John Ricci's gruesome axe welding powers that be. Add to the mix Dan Beehler's tough-as-nails vocals, and you are starting to get the picture. I first listened to this album at age 19, and have been hooked, ever since. My only regret is that I never got a chance to see these guys live and in action, I can't even imagine how it must have felt to be lucky enough to see these guys do what they do best, and feel the energy radiating off the stage, like it does on their songs/albums. A must have for the true heavy metal fan who remembers what it was like "old school."Read full review
