It's a lot heavier duty than I thought.
I purchased this toolbox mainly because it's about the only full sized box that will fit my 2020 half ton Duramax crew cab short box. I was afraid that it would be pretty light duty but was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box and found it to be fairly heavy duty. The lid when closed had no play, or rattles and fit tightly. The inside of the box is lined with a carpet like fabric that will protect the inside of the box. Also the angled in edges make it so I can still get to my tie downs for securing loads. I like everything about this box. That being said, I'm not too pleased about the J bolt mounting hardware. I went online to search for a better alternative for mounting hardware and came up with some awesome clamps on Amazon. After installing these clamps I am no longer worried about damaging the lip on my bed rail. I would absolutely recommend this box to anyone.
