This tool is designed to go everywhere, in your pocket. Simply attach to your smartphone and you have an accurate, light, and powerful themal imaging tool. It's almost as good as easy as taking a photo with you phone. The images can be directly loaded onto the reports. I still have my very expensive and massive thermal camera in a large case with giant batteries!! Truely amazing. I highly recommend it to all you inspectors out there.

It is an Android USB C Professonal grade from a few years ago (Gen 3). No digital information display for real time temperature. Relative temperature to surrounding area shows up but hard to quantify. Pro LT better with roughly same relolution.

This thing is not only valuable as a tool to diagnose problems, but it's also extremely entertaining. I bought the more expensive 'Pro' model thinking I would need the additional features but I haven't been able to utilize them; The official FLIR app doesn't work on my phone at all. It opens to the menu but crashes immediately after attempting to open the camera. I have a Google Pixel 2 XL, a phone that's common and powerful enough that it should have solid compatibility. Strangely, there's a third party app that's been "officially approved by FLIR" that does work with my phone, although I don't think the third party app has the 'Pro' features. On the play store, the official FLIR app has like 2 stars because of how crappy the app is. In a product like this, the hardware is only as good as the software. Because of this major flaw, the majority of people would be better off saving 200 dollars and buying the non-pro version. The camera itself is solidly built. The built in battery provides enough runtime for almost any situation I can think of. The thermal quality is great as to be expected. Despite the debilitating software issues, I love this thing! Great value for a thermal camera module sporting more useful features than either the Flir One or Seek USB-C cameras. The Topdon is rugged, comes with a very good case, has an included extension cable that plugs into both USB-C and USB-A and can be used with both Android phones and Windows 10/11 PCs, tablets and allows you to position the device either closer to your phone's camera or maneuver into tight spots. Some kind of a sliding lens cover would be a welcome feature, but the case offers good protection and is convenient in size. There's a lens cloth included. This camera has a much better framerate than either the Flir One or Seek, though the Seek has a narrow FOV and might be better for long range use spotting people/wildlife. The Topdon has 10 color palettes on Android and a whole lot more on PC, you can take timed readings and create a graph for a single point or a particular area. It has a lo and hi temp range or you can set a custom temp range with overall range of -20C to 550C. There are countless uses for the camera and I'm very happy with my purchase. Really glad I saw a review of this before purchasing as I feel this offers a much better value than the Flir One or Seek. I was able to spot a deer bedded down about 75M from my door the first time I took it outside and another time I had my eye on what must be a chipmunk nest at 50M and was able to see one of them make a break for it and scamper off in the woods. The first pic is the deerRead full review

I just recieved it couple of days ago and haven't tested it much, but so far its been an amazing experience. Although a bit of annoyance on the battery of the camera as I am unable to charge it beyond 78% and it drops pretty significantly with some use. If anyone has any knowledge please enlighten.
