Works great, but you may have to file just a bit of plastic
At first it would not stay in, kept falling out. Then I noticed that the latch on the rifle that releases the magazine was not fully seating in place when the mag was inserted. It took just a little bit of filing on the "knob" that the latch seats behind for it to drop into place. Then it worked perfectly. Must have been a little extra plastic resin from when it was molded that was obstructing the latch. Very easy fix once I figured it out. Now it works just like the factory original that came with the rifle, but has 10 round capacity instead of just 5.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don’t buy it!
It did not fit as good as the magazine that came with the rifle. It took about 2 hours of filing and fitting to get this magazine to fit snug like the original. I do not recommend buying this magazine expecting it to fit like an original. It was in a CZ-USA package but I don’t think it was an original CZ product. To order one from the CZ factory in the Chek republic Is extremely expensive. Don’t do it. Nuff said.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

In order to make these magazines work in...
In order to make these magazines work in my gun I had to file the catch notch on them before they would latch in to my brand new rifle. Should not have to clean up the casting marks with a file on an oem magazine for them to work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight but needs QA
The reason for the less than excellent rating is that for some reason the 10 round mags don't lock up as easily (in my CZ 455 rifle) as the 5 round mags do. I haven't investigated exactly what the cause is yet but of the two I have purchased neither one locks up properly. I've never been a huge fan of plastic mags anyway and maybe that's the problem. Other than lock up the magazines feed well but are still overpriced. Savage can sell steel (nickle) mags for the same price and they work flawlessly. This individual I ordered my magazine from was the cheapest site I found it on and they were delivered promptly and without damage. CZ 512 10 rd mag is a proven performer.
These 10 round mags have not failed me yet. They lock in place easily and drop free when the mag ejection button is pushed. The only negative to these mags is the round count. 10 rounds in a semi-auto rim fire rifle is just a tease. This is a 512 Tactical rifle it does NOT make sense to only have a 10 round mag. I am really surprised that an after market company hasn't jumped on this money making idea. EVERY BLOG I join about this weapon, Every One, lists the the number of rounds per mag as the biggest draw back to this Tactical Rifle. Go Figure, some times the folks just don't listen, or just don't care. I love this rifle, and hate the round count. If I had it all to do over..
