My son loves this Nerf gun, its huge! I would highly recommend getting the Nerf rechargeable battery to go with it. It's supposed to use 6 D batteries, which are heavy and a waste if you don't have rechargeable ones. The Nerf battery is super light, easy to charge and install, more powerful then the D batteries and lasts longer. Well worth the extra money! Let the Nerf wars begin!!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old nephew. He LOVED it and especially liked being able to load 100 balls into the gun. I'm glad that I read it took 6 "D" batteries and included them with the present. The battery-powered gun allowed him to continually shoot all 100 balls. The gun wasn't too powerful that it hurt or stung very much when being hit by the nerf balls.

An interesting toy. I bought it as a Christmas gift and although it was pretty pricey I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is pretty massive and does hold 100 nerf balls that are about 1/2 the size of a golf ball. It will shoot selectively and is quite accurate at about 15 feet. We were able to repeatedly hit the bulls eye on a target in automatic fire from 12 feet. It takes 6 D cell batteries and has an option rechargeable battery pack that can be purchased separately. Seemingly well made and as I said pretty hefty. I would recommend it AND should be used with protective eyewear
