Its appeal and sound quality lie in the simplicity of the original design. However, individual string intonation left a little to be desired. Now with the addition of a movable G and B saddle, many different string gauges can be perfectly tuned to make your guitar sound even better.

Great invention!
This is the 3rd such bridge that I've purchased over the past few years. Guitarist GE Smith originally designed this "half bridge" for his work. And although originally meant for the Telecaster, I have used it successfully on Danelectro and Squier Bullet guitars with great success. This Wilkinson version takes the design a bit further by adding compensation to the saddles rather than just the standard brass barrel. This means you get both a perfect string radius and intonation. Highly recommended, especially for guitars with substandard bridge/saddle problems.
