The unit is solid and works as advertised -- but read the description carefully so you know what you're getting. The sliding covers over the connectors was a big selling point for me. This keeps dust out of them in my shop when there's no cord in use at each one. Some complained that inserting the plugs was too hard (or impossible). That's not so. The best receptacle is one that holds the plug (and hence the cord) solidly and soundly. So it takes a hard push to get the plug in and it's not going to fall out if you happen to tug on the cord -- a big win as far as I'm concerned. The rotating power cord FROM the unit is a nice touch but be aware it only goes 180 degrees (1/2 way around) and not 360degrees. This way the cord can 'aim' left or right but not down as it rotates only around the top of the unit. The plug is a flat plug so it does not stick out from where it's plugged in -- this can be an advantage. I'd buy it again.Read full review
