Full Function Replacement Sanyo TV Remote
DP32649 can be added to the list of Sanyo TVs the USBRMT SAN-928 remote will operate. My 2009 model TV is FULLY functional with this remote with some buttons to spare because the TV just doesn't have those options (it's definitely not a Smart TV and it is 11 years old; say no more). I tried using 2 other universal remotes with the TV and the best I could get was Power, Volume & Channel, access to the Menu but no way to navigate once I was in. What really fried my hide with the uni-remotes was the lack of Picture-Shape (PIX SHAPE) button. The SAN-928 remote has it so problem solved. I put batteries in it and it worked immediately, no programing what so ever, it worked right away. Now, let's be realistic, nothing is perfect right? If you're like me you're exercising some blind faith on eBay shopping by pictures and less than technical descriptions. The remotes plastic case could have been made a little sturdier, it's thin and has some flex to it. The action of the buttons feels like "for a limited time only". In my opinion I would not want the kids using/throwing/dropping this. No drunken friends dropping/sitting/stepping on it or using it to test their grip strength. It works great but it's a bit on the fragile side. Treat it like a woman you want mom to meet and you'll be fine. The 5 star rating is a little generous, more like 4+. If it were sturdier it would be a solid 5. This remote is a good value and solved my universal remote problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Smart or not/old or new
This remote works very well straight out the box. Even though it is stated that it is specifically for a Smart TV I find that it works great with either one smart or not/old or new. To make my point the tube that I used it on was dated from from the year 2009. So don't be afraid to order it fearing that it may not work with just a regular Sanyo flat screen tv, I fully put it to the test going through all functions like pix shape & reset (which are not available on any brand Universal Remotes). This remote is exactly what I needed to resize my screen and do the things that only a Sanyo remote can give me. Like movie critics, I'm giving it two thumbs up.
