.I learn how to fly only about 2 weeks ago and crashed this plane before I read the instruction book and learned that CG stands for center of gravity and I had the battery too far forward. After learning the basic controls I am now doing loops barrel rolls and having a lot of fun. The only problem is I can't seem to have enough batteries to keep on flying as long as I want. I now use five extra batteries for more airtime. It's just great. Even the experienced flyers at the park continuously give me compliments on the technology in this Cub. My favorite part is whenever I feel like I'm losing control I can easily switch it back to beginner and it limits the bank and stops it from crashing. Also when in a bind or when I accidentally looked toward the sun and lose visual acuity I can hold the bind button for a few seconds and it comes back to land right where I set the home location. I bought a second one after that crash however I haven't had to use it except when another flyer asks about it I can pull it out of the van and let them have a spin. As far as I'm concerned it's incredibly fun and for me who has only been flying a total of 5 days now I've been told that I seem pretty advanced, I owe that to the safety features. It's also very stable at very low speeds so it's easy to control on landing and doesn't take a lot of power to take off. Easy to cruise around at half throttle and I normally only go to full throttle when doing a loop or at the beginning of take off. Again it's a lot of fun I don't consider this a waste of money at all. As far as the binding issues from the other reviewer I don't know because I bought the ready to fly kit. on auto landing in normally lands within four or five feet of where it took off and it lands in the same direction that it took off as well so as long as there's plenty of room behind you when you take off your fine for landing. I'm very happy with this product and because of its simplicity I will soon be updating to bigger and better planes I'm sure. FYI when the battery came forward and I had that crash the first time the entire back of the fuselage came apart. I took it back to the place I bought it and they sold me some foam glue. It was amazing how easily it was to fix period after the repair I took it back to the place where I bought it and they confirm that it was a good repair. I've been flying ever since with no issues. The plane is almost $300 and to me that is a ton of money however in my opinion it is well worth the investment. I can honestly say that I owe part of my ability to quit smoking on the fact that I have acquired such a great hobby and I probably wouldn't still be into it if it wasn't for the carbon cub s plus.
