Good for occasional use
Honest there *are* better flashlights out there, but this one combines convenience and brightness into a reasonably small package. The Mag Solitaire is about as bright as the flashlight app on a typical cell phone. It runs on common triple A batteries you can find at any corner store and will work with rechargeable cells. The downside is that it can be finicky sometimes. The finish isn't durable enough to stand up to carrying in a pocket with keys but it's not required for the light to work. If you use rechargeable batteries, they die for good after about a year or two. Last, the Mag Solitaire has a tendency to turn itself on unless you screw the head down tight. Overall I think it's a good value for occasional use, but if you're looking for a flashlight you'll use daily, buy a better one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
