Effective trap but tricky to set
An effective mole trap but not easy to set. Setting the trap requires a one-footed stance and it is easy to lose your balance when applying downward pressure with one foot. You also have to watch where to place your foot on the top because you can easily depress the trap release clip at the same time you try to set it. Study to see where the release is and don't place your foot on the release when you set the trap otherwise it won't catch after you depress it and will pop back up. On the positive side, you don't have to dig to set this trap and it certainly catches/kills moles.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did not work. Spring release to tight.
Bought 2 of these traps, set them both the day I received them. Within and hour had movement. The first trap the moll fully covered the trap. 2nd trap no activity. I dug the 1st trap out and repositioning it to where it should work. Next morning cont find trap its buried under so much dirt. ( trap never went off )2nd trap half buried trap never set off. Reset them same thing. Took them to shop and found that it took between 7 & 10 lbs of force to set trap off. I'm sorry but my rodents are not on steroids, they cant get that much dirt to set the traps off. I sent them both back.
