  • Great resource!

We homeschool, and this was such a wonderful resource for my daughter as we read through the Kaya books; it gives great detail and insight into the time and culture in a way that is engaging for all ages--I got sucked in too! It doesn't need to be read in one sitting or in order; we would consult different sections as we had questions or became intersted in a topic. I will definitely look for the other "Welcome" series books when we study those time periods

  • Great Introduction to American History

The wonderful thing about these books is that the "Woke police" haven't had a chance to ruin the history in them. They have encouraged my granddaughter to be interested in American history and how the American Indians lived and what their struggles were. I would recommend this series to any parent of a grade school child.
