SynopsisAlex O'ConnorApril 19, 1963 - December 30, 2016I wish to be remembered as a loving person, especially by my husband, family, and friends. I want to be thought of as a lover of animals. Picture me riding horses or training dogs. I want to be recalled as a good friend, the kind of friend who would drop everything to help you. I will still be there in spirit. I hope to be regarded as a good artist. I intend my art to bring smiles to peoples' faces long after I am gone. I wish to have people enjoy the colors and the expressions of the animals I painted. I expect to be recognized for my analytical mind. I will certainly be remembered as the font of useless information. I aspire to be honored as an advocate for MS and health care. I desire to be remembered as a person who had no regrets. When friends and family think of me, they think of a person who has lived my life to the fullest. I hope those I love recall I did not wait to do the things I wanted to do. I expect to be remembered for my sense of humor. I want people to think of me laughing. Think of me whenever you hear a bad pun. I wish to be recognized as a sensitive person who cried at movies. I was a person who was close to many animals. Most of all, think about me and Polly my service dog. I also want to be thought of as a lover of humanity. I expect to be remembered as a singer of old ballads and a lover of music. Whenever you hear a Scottish or Irish ballad think on me. My favorite is Anachie Gordon sung by Mary Black. Recall my favorite Bluegrass piece Soldier's Joy. I want to be remembered for mindfulness. Please read some Thicht Nhat Hahn for me. I will not have gone, I will have just changed forms. I am a part of all of you, as you are a part of me as long as you remember me.
