Dream world coloring book nightmare
While the content of this book is beautiful and compelling, the quality is atrocious. The paper quality is extremely cheap and the ink is pixelated due to paper quality. Also, this is not grayscale in any capacity. It's pretty much black and white. I'm sure this is in some part due to paper quality. I use high end prismacolor pencils. The paper eats up the pencils quickly, you absolutely cannot blend anything and the "gray" areas are so black, it smears ink with the pencil color. This ruins everything you are trying to accomplish not being able to use light colors. Using dark colors pretty much has same effect, just darker and muddied. You also get no backlit looks of real grayscale because it is so black and white. This is the fourth book I have ordered that uses the same publisher, CreateSpace. I have encountered the same problem with every one. Same poor paper quality, same smearing ink, same pixelation, same waste of pencil. I'm extremely disappointed and it's been a complete waste of my time to have to return every single one. I would not recommend buying this book nor any other by this publisher.
