I have been looking for a standard Express 3900 unit at the normal price range and this fit. It arrived in a timely manner, it works perfectly and it's brand new. It has all the normal options with 720 and 1080 speed, USB, HDMI and everything works no issues. When you're installing these units... the only thing you need to do is make sure your Wi-Fi signals are extremely strong or in the range. Otherwise, you have issues downloading the software. Other than that, they're fine. This can happen on any unit during installation.

There is a reason Roku is the #1 Streaming player in America, and that's because they are simple and easy to use. So simple my neighbor's 4 year old daughter who was baby sitting had no trouble finding what she wanted to watch on the Playstation Vue app, and even the 90+ year old clients at my work for a senior center can use them with little issue. Get this box if all you need is a simple no thrills HD streaming device that's easy to setup, loads apps/channels fast with easy updates and you don't mind a small box with an IR remote, but if you have an older CRT TV with composite inputs do go with the Express+ as it's otherwise the same, and if you don't to have a box in front of your TV then get the ROKU HDMI stick that hides nicely behind your TV, and comes with a Wifi direct remote. Also to note all the new models support private listening via their Android app/(can't speak for iOS as I don't use it) which has been greatly improved over time, but will depend on you having a good WiFi 2.4Ghz Network as the Roku Express, Roku Express+, and Roku 2016 black HDMI stick only support 2.4Ghz from my testing. My only real negatives about Roku is could you please start including a better mounting tape in the box, as 3M command strips have you beat by a country mile, and Free HDMI extenders they give away upon request could be slightly longer, and higher quality even if you want charge customers who request them a shipping fee. yes I know my negatives are a nitpick, but thought I should include them none the less.Read full review

Order received early. I don’t know what took me so long to try the roku. My sister got it and she highly recommended it. Very good purchase. If I knew how much I would enjoy it, I would have spent the $40and got the stick or even the ultra. I will be canceling my cable. This was less than $29. Streaming and uploading can sometimes be a little slow, picture not clear for a few seconds.
