I bought this game online because my local store thought it was okay to charge $35 for a used copy. :p You can't beat $21 for a new copy here on eBay. Unfortunately, the game didn't quite live up to everything I heard and hoped for. The graphics were sort of PS3/360 era which was unexpected but no big deal. Also, the jail part of the story was too short. I liked the escape I wish it could've been a bit longer. However I still found A Way Out was fun. I enjoyed the co-op, the main reason I bought it. Maybe it won't make it to my favorites list, but there was a lot to appreciate all the same, and to whomever loves it, more power to ya. I recommend Hazelight's other game It Takes Two. Another fun co-op game.

The game sounds very appealing, but I don’t like how it is two player I can’t send a request to my husband plays on an Xbox one well I play on a PlayStation four and vice versa. I understand it’s supposed to tell a story from both ends in one place one character one plays the other but I kind of wish that they could’ve made it a single part where it explains one person story and then the other character you got to play along the way as well like for instance I’m charted for it inns up explaining both sides but it least you’re playing one main character and then at the end you play the daughter which explains everything in detail so my only complaint about the game is it doesn’t have a single player where it could explain both sides like I’m charted does but nevertheless it sounds like an excellent game to I understand it’s supposed to tell a story from both ends in one place one character one plays the other but I kind of wish that they could’ve made it a single part where it explains one person story and then the other character you got to play along the way as well like for instance I’m charted for it inns up explaining both sides but it least you’re playing one main character and then at the end you play the daughter which explains everything in detail so my only complaint about the game is it doesn’t have a single player where it could explain both sides like uncharted does but nevertheless it sounds like an excellent game to play.Read full review

It is evident that EA dotted their I's and crossed their T's prior to rolling out "A Way Out"; it is one of the most polished and character development "heavy" games I have ever played. The graphics have set the bar high for the releases to come of 2018; extreme attention to detail and that alone makes it worth the price of admission, in my opinion. "A Way Out" is strictly Cooperative/Co-op, which I really, really like (when it's done well); they knocked it out the park re: the sequential(s) necessary to pull of a true Co-op; the game moves along seamlessly between cut/split screens and dynamic, action packed "grit'. This has the feel of Uncharted but truly puts 110% of its focus on the Coop mechanics and absolutely nails it...time and time again. One of the best storylines I have played in a long, long time (and for that to be less any Single Player and strictly Co-op, tells you how EA nailed a homerun with this). I can't really explain the "game experience" because it's unlike anything I have ever played; you seriously need to play "together" to make it and that is what sets it apart from any other Co-op that I can remember and it's not close (this is a truly fantastic game). Taking just over 10 hours to complete, the replay value exists (and I can see myself spending weeks playing with either the wieldy veteran convict or the newbie with nothing to lose). If you are into the cooperative gameplay experience, enjoy(ed) anything resembling Uncharted (re: mechanics, flow) and like a wild ride, "A Way Out" will wind you in and for that I give it 5 Stars.Read full review

Almost like a puzzle game, has to be played with a friend. Either online, or local, split screen no matter what. Faster shipping, great price, exactly as described.

Impossible to play without a walkthrough. Got stuck on the second chapter because what looked logical to do was wrong and I had to look it up. Otherwise interesting but s second playthrough wouldn't make any sense
