Something to have in your chrysler/dodge/vw routan minivan.
Having the oem plastic y blow out in the middle of an intersection several years ago, i now keep 2 of these repair kits in the back of my 2 grand caravans. I just had to change out the plastic y in my minivan a week ago after i had the intake gasket replaced a week prior. I guess moving the hoses around during the gasket replacement caused a hairline crack in the plastic fitting.

Fixed it.
This should have been installed at the factory. Caravans and T&Cs have an Achilles heel. The heater hose Y pipes (2) WILL spring a leak sooner or later. Very thin plastic that gets more brittle over time. This Aluminum Y takes care of the problem.
