D is awesome. But short. And so very slow. Sure, you could consume the thing on youtube at 2X speed for free and get a good chunk of the same experience but some clever design choices make it worth a personal play through. With no pause function or save feature and a 2 hour time limit it's a game that is made to be replayed which is its biggest strength. Your first run is spent solving puzzles. Once you know the solution you can actually skip large portions of the game on subsequent play throughs which I found extremely rewarding. If you like cheesy voice acting and some slick pretty rendered video and maybe don't mind a slower paced atmospheric game then give it a whirl.

I remember playing D like 7-8 years ago and could figure it out. So some years later I bought it again for a whopping $50.00 (long box). And I loved it. The graphics were amazing for a 1997 game. Great music. And had a strange storyline. Also the puzzles were interesting too... But the game itself was short as hell. I could beat the 1st disk in less than 15 min. The second disk took alittle longer, there were more puzzles, and the 3rd disk...well I'm not going to spoil it. But the only thing I didn't like about D was Laura walked slower than a 90 year old....I mean come on walk alittle faster Laura. So in other words this game is slow. But if you have never played D before then I would recommened this game to you... but try and find a friend who has it before paying $50-$60 for it..
This is truly an innovative game, different from anything you've ever played before. Basically the only controls used are one item button, and the d-pad. You control Laura, a woman looking to solve the mystery of why her father went on a murderous rampage through a Los Angeles hospital, and basically you navigate her around, solve a few puzzles, and watch a lot of cut scenes. More of a first-person, interactive movie than a platformer, this game sounds like it might be a bit boring, but turn down the lights and play this one for the first time, and I guarantee you'll enjoy it. A true horror classic, a must-play, and one of my favorite titles for the Sony Playstation. I absolutely endorse this game, but borrow it from a friend or rent it if you can, as it has little replayability as a title to own. Happy gaming!Read full review
I played this game 12 years ago when a friend brought it over, and I've been looking for it ever since! This game FREAKED me out when I was 10 years old!! It was just as I remember, but not quite as scary as an adult. It's slow moving but had stunning graphics for the time period it was made. It's short in the sense that it only takes about an hour or two to beat it, but there are 4 endings so you can play it over and over again to get them. Great game, and I absolutely LOVE the nostalgia it brings!
Been looking for this game for years finally got it and have to say it was in perfect condition. Great eBay seller thanks
