Great carburetors!
They are just the ticket! I've been using RS flat slides for over 20 years, and they are never a disappointment. Great throttle response, and power delivery, and very tunable. They use factory Mikuni jets, and are easy to clean and synchronize. The rack is adjustable for both early and modern configurations, and they just always work. These Mikuni carburetors are the first new carbs I have ever bought. They work well on the 1979 KZ1000 I have but the pump rod sticks & I am going to remove them from the bike and see what's happening with them.They do work well even without the pump working 100% but will be even better if I can get that pump rod moving freely and giving the engine a squirt just above idle. It has amazing power now with these 36mm Mikuni's. She goes ..she does,- she does!
