  • nice cover, poor content

It has a very fine Brian Bolland cover, but past that it's just the typical UK comic book stuff. Don't know why I expected something else. The artwork looks like it was shrunken down to fit the page, and I believe it was twisted around to print in this form. That aside, the art isn't up to USA standards, and as far as the "writing"? OBOY! There isn't much of that here. I bought this because I purchased the six issue Albion series written by Alan Moore's daughter and her spouse, and I wanted a bit of background before I read it, to get to know the characters. I probably could have skipped it, there are miles between this and the newer series as far as storytelling. In closing, the cover is the real value here, at least in my opinion.
