Thoughtful Speeches by an Optimistic American Historian
A collection of speeches by historian David McCullough, given over a number of years, seeks to remind the reader of what has made this country distinctive, its aspirational though definitely unfinished goals. His knowledge and love of this country, his natural optimism, shines through and is especially welcome in these times.
