Bought a complete kit instead of individually tracking down all the missing/broken clips and rods
While checking out the seller's other items, I came across this complete set. I decided to take the plunge and buy it rather than take apart the existing set on an early-'99 F-350 SD and individually track down all the missing/broken clips and rods. With the re-equipping of the spare tire winch, I wondered if I needed the infamous winch key set. Thankfully, the rod end operates the winch without it. A word of advice: store the plastic clip, the one that holds the two thin rods together, in a safe place away from the rest of the set until installation is finished. I broke mine while moving the set around not long before I had a chance to install it in the truck. It's not important, but still...
