Neat 80's look to complement your old Walkman but no high frequency sounds whatsoever!
Very neat design and of a high quality finish in assembly and usage (no sharp edges).
Unfortunately the sound quality leaves quite a bit to be desired in the upper high frequency range, since there's pretty much no music reproduction above 9 kHz, so the playback of cymbals and other high frequency sounds in the top octave is basically non existent.
Bass is quite good for such lightweight and open headphones design, and midrange frequencies are acceptable, not too uneven or tiring.
I cannot complain too much knowing these were affordable and of a good brand (KOSS), but the total lack in the reproduction of the highest frequencies was a letdown.
I like em. These are great headphones for the right purpose. These are the most neutral sounding headphones I’ve had. If your looking for a beats killer these are obviously not them. But one thing I always hate about headphones is with each pair there’s always ups and downs. One pair has too much mids, the other too much highs, or too much lows. And these headphones are about as midline as it gets. Do they have great highs or lows? No. The sound can be slightly muffled/distant at times but it’s not overwhelming on any accounts. I feel like I could wear these all day watching movies and have no problems at all, just what I would want for an on the go media headphone. Despite the design these aren’t music headphones, but for movies they are perfect. The only thing I don’t like is the thickness of the orange pads, they just do not look right on me, somebody else with a little swag could pull them off tho Glad I was able to find a pair.
