I had been interested in buying an Ultra Short Throw projector for some time. Initially, I had my heart set on the Cinemax P2 by Optoma until I found out about this gem by Epson. It's about a $1000 cheaper and the only difference is that it downscales 4k to HD (but it still accepts 4k signal). After doing some research, I cam to realize that at a certain viewing distance, the difference between full hd and 4k is quite negligible. So, saving the $1000 was a no brainer. The stock sound built into the unit by Yamaha is quite incredible. If you add an after market subwooker, I'd say it's great audio for most spaces. The image quality is stunning. The picture I posted is of the unit projecting directly to my wall, without any screen or special paint!! I can only imagine how good the image will be on an actual ALR projection screen. I haven't officially measured the size of the image I'm projecting, but I'm willing to bet it is larger than 120 inches I'm super thrilled to have found this projector!!Read full review
