it really has great power it nearly pulled the insert out of my boot when i vacuumed them out. I love the retractable cord ,just love that feature . and its light weight compared to my old bissell. and easy to empty . its a great machine.

I also have a Shark swivel vacuum at my vacation house which I really like, but was intrigued by this Bissell model that was priced much lower than another shark. On the positives it has good power and is more maneuverable than the traditional non-swivel vacuum I was replacing. Also I like the cord rewind on this model (shark did not have). The based unit is bigger than the shark, so is less likely to tip over which seems to happen every time I use the shark. It is fairly quiet as well. On the negative side, due to the larger base it is not as maneuverable or as light as the shark. the shark is just so easy to use and get in tight corners. This is also not a lift off model like the shark, which is OK, but can come in handy on some occasions. So overall my feelings are mixed. For the price and the auto cord feature is a good buy and certainly better than non-swivel models, but when in use not as slick as the shark. Read full review

While it seems a bit flimsy in sturdiness, this vacuum gets the job done well. It's easy to maneuver and all the features are excellent on floors and carpets.
