I have been using an old Summaron 35 3.5 on my M8 for a few years and it is a great focal length for the M8. My 50+ year old Summaron is starting to fail and I chose this lens to fill the gap as I am planning to send the 'Ron in for repair. Likes: The lens is small, has great contrast, is well made, sharp, and has no hot spots when using it for infrared on the M8. The filter size is the same as my old Leitz lenses so fitting it into the system is not a problem. Dislikes: None really, it does a great job for the price point it sells for. At 2.5 the center is sharp and the corners have some softness but it is still sharper than the 50+ year old Summaron at 3.5 that I have been using. If you are a low light shooter , 2.5 might not be fast enough for you but that has not been an issue for me. I can see this lens in my bag for as long as it or I last, I like its rendering and color. If you can live with F2.5 this is a good lens.Read full review

The size and price of the lens are awesome. And I think the image quality is sharp and unique. It's really saturated and has a one of a kind voightlander look.

Got it for my Leica M6 and works just as well on my a7iii. The lens is sharp and super compact.

First rate lens - a less expensive alternative to Leica glass but one that definitely does not disappoint
