At 57 I decided to learn how to play the drums. I was looking for an upgrade to the foot switch type bas pedal that came with my Ddrum beta kit. This does the job. The pad is responsive and has a good feel. Construction seems solid. I would recommend this.
The pad surface is pretty hard without much give so it feels like you are playing against a wall. Dynamics aren't great. I like the size and it's reasonably sturdy. Seems that it isn't well engineered.
