Cream consistency makes it easy to apply and style. I would say it has a medium hold which is better than most creams. I am replacing the Redken "Finished Cream Get Groomed" for men with this as it had no hold and an overly masculine musky scent. This has the right amount of hold for a guys hair with a nice clean professional product scent. My first time using it I got comments from my lady friends on how great my hair looked and smelled. I will be purchasing more in the future.
