1980 Jeep CJ7 HEI 258 6 cylinder
This is the 2nd one I've purchased ... the first ran flawlessly for over a year in my old Jeep until I sold it, so was a no brainer to buy another for my current project. Don't pay more for the "name brand" HEI .. this is an excellent unit and the Jeep will find another use for the money saved :)

Overall install insulation was good
Everything that was ordered, was delivered on time. The instructions was very good and straight forward. There is a video online(you tube) that helped also. I have more power, no more strong gas fumes on the exhaust of my YJ.

Worth the cost and effort
This was a great upgrade to the stock distributor in my 1977 CJ-5 with 258. Changed and re-gaped some new plugs as well. It has made a noticeable difference. Great product, good price!

Simple and reliable
I've had the distributer on my jeep for over a year. The installation was super simple and it works great. The only downside was the mechanical advance had to be re-curved to work with my jeep, but I don't consider that an issue. The re-curve kits are very inexpensive.
