Yamaha has really nailed it with the Crosstown Advanced Lightweight Snare stand. Even during pandemic, I'm moving my snare stand around a lot (room to room, not gig to gig...) and it's easier to handle. It adjusts easily and has incredibly light weight for such a chunky snare drum stand. I know this puppy will handle the rigors of gigging and frequent set up/tear down when gig goodness returns to planet earth. Recommended--I'm looking forward to checking out other stand in this line.

The light weight is good for transporting and I have the rest of this series, 4 cymbal stands and the high hat stand. The problem is that when you put a snare drum into the basket, it is very hard to adjust to fit. You almost need to take the snare out and guess at the size of the basket and put it back. It led me to buy the new Rogers Dyna-matic snare stand to use with my antique Rogers kit.

You wouldn’t bring these on your around the US metal tour, but they are great for solid gigging around town. And easy on your back :)

Light, portable and sturdy. It’s great for small set ups & not a hassle to lug around.

The stand is VERY light, and sturdy. I’ve tried a number of ‘ultra light’ stands, and this is the one to buy.
