if you own a Ruger redhawk round butt 45LC/45ACP buy this grip, this grip fills your hand better than the factory ones do, this is the only grip on the market for this gun so far, took me about 30 seconds to install the grip on my gun, solid tight fit

GREAT. . .once I ground off the finger grooves
It's a very well made product on which I expected to make alterations going in. I absolutely HATE finger groove grips, but there appears to be ZERO other options on the market for the round butt version of the Redhawk that aren't just copies of the factory grips made of different materials. These grips both cover the backstrap and fill in the gap behind the triggerguard in the old Tyler T-Grip fashion, making for much better fit and control in my large hands. My only remaining concern was the finger grooves, which only ever fit the hand that designed them. A couple emails back and forth with Hogue confirmed that (A.) they currently have no plans to make a no-finger-grooves model, (B.) I would void the warranty if I ground them off and they don't recommend it, and (C.) that I could do so without cutting through to the inner plastic liner. Ten minutes careful work on a 1" belt sander yielded the result in the attached before & after pics. My only remaining concern is how to get these grips back off when it's time to service the revolver. They replace the factory grip frame insert with one that has a socket on both sides to receive a stud on either side of the grip interior. Once you forcibly slide the grip on and the studs snap in, the grip is SOLIDLY attached, but getting them off will probably require wedging some kind of shims into both sides of the bottom to lift the studs. I doubt that will be easy. Good value and if you actually like finger grooves, you get an instant improvement over the slippery OEM grip panels. Hopefully Hogue will take my hint and start making them grooveless, and thus prevent the need for surgery.

Perfect Grip for My Ruger Redhawk Round Butt Revolver
Hogue does not usually do a good job of describing which model grip you need for a particular model firearm. This time, however, with some research and youtube, I was able to be certain which model I needed for my Redhawk. The grip fit perfectly, the installation instructions were extremely helpful and it went on with relative ease. The narrow grip of the round-butt Ruger Redhawk is rather thin and not very inviting for a 44 Mag. The new Hogue grip is perfect and makes shooting the pistol very nice. Best $25 I've spent in a long time.

I have Hogue grips on my Ruger 357 magnum, so I expected the best quality, condition, value and appearance and I was not disappointed. These grips fit my Ruger Redhawk perfectly and they protect my knuckle on my middle finger from the recoil on the Ruger Redhawk 45 ACP/ 45 Colt. I'm an NRA instructor and when you shoot all day comfort means a lot.
