Kit works fine, make sure you hang on to the old front pulley, axle pin, chain link, plates, keepers, threaded end and emergency pull handle, because you will need to reuse those. Also, try to find your original installation manual, because instead of a short explanation, the included instructions just say to follow the instructions in your original info. They don’t explain Putting the chain back on and in the correct position. One could probably find it online? For the cost, you get two rail extensions that replace two existing ones, a new chain/cable assembly, a new longer emergency rope and one perforated steel brace to stiffen the mounting. Actual time to swap the parts once opener is down on the floor or sawhorses is about thirty minutes if you are an average skilled DIYer.
