Best case lube I have ever used.

This is a great lube. I use it for more than case sizing, but that is where it really shines. Until i got some of this stuff, my attempts at resizing FN5.7 cases were 95% failures using four other types of commercial case lube, and 50% with a lube I concocted myself. With it, I have reversed it to 95% success. Kind of expensive, but worth it.

  • Great for pistol cases except smells. Dlllon case lube or homemade is better.

I use it for .380, 9mm, .32 and .327 Magnum and .38 Special and .357 magnum brass cases. I have a large plastic Sterlite container I take outside and drop hundreds of cases in and spray and shake. I repeat spray and shake two three or four times depending on how many cases in there. I then turn and shake cases a bunch to make sure coated. I leave them in my storage building to dry a day or two. This spray smells. It lubes fine but to be honest Dillon case spray or Isopropyl alcohol and liquid lanolin works better and does not stink. I use Dillon case spray within an hour of spraying if its hundreds of cases or a couple of minutes under a fan if its just 50-100 cases. A fan helps. This works but stinks and seems it may be hazardous. Dillon case lube is alcohol and lanolin and smells like first aid alcohol and once dry is probably good for your skin. ALWAYS LET SPRAY ON LUBES DRY. Any spray on lube I used works better dry. I used almost all of them. I will not buy Hornady One Shot again because of the smell and hassle of taking them outside to spray and dry.

  • Easy to use

I think the title says it all, I was using a RCBS pad and their lube, it worked good, but it was messy and slow.. I started looking for something to speed up the process and decided on Hornady, and it was the best pick I ever made. I sized about 500 .223 shell casings in about half the time it took me to do 250, and is much easier on my dies and press, and seems like it does not require as much force to size the cases washes off easy, works great..

  • One Shot- It Works

I've been using One Shot for years. It's quick. It's easy and it works. I hear some users complaining of stuck cases with One Shot. I recently did over 2k cases and no stuck case. I guess it's a matter of you can't please all the people all the time. I know it works. I do hundreds sometimes thousands of cases in a month. I have no problems.

  • This is a follow up for this case lubrication! I read a (-) review on this product from Kb5tgs on april 27- 2017 ( your doing something wrong!

This is by far the best case lube on the market! I have been reloading for over 40 years and been through the worst messes you can think of for clean up before being able to load your cases. This is a 1-2-3 operation, spread clean casings out on cardboard, shack one shot spray can good and spray even light coating 360 degrees around casing at about 45 degree angle from above casings, let dry for 1 – 2 minutes and start reloading!! No worries about primer or powder contamination with one shot case lube. I would recommend this product to any body that reloads!

  • What a joy to use, try it and you'll never go back to your favorite!

Out of all the products in this class, Hornady stands alone without competition! It is clean, economical, easy to use, and it WORKS! I use it on all my bottle-neck brass, progressive and manual. Mike

  • Less work is a good thing!

This is a great product that takes a lot of work out of sizing cases. I make 300 blackout cases out of range recovered .223/5.56 cases and I end up having a lot of time invested in each case considering cutting off the .223, then lubing the case by hand before running it through the 300 blackout sizing die. With the water-based case lube I was using not only was it slow but I had to clean the gunk out of the die every 50 cases. With the One Shot I put the cutoff cases in a 50-case shell tray and just spray at a 45 degree angle. The spray lubes the outside of the cases and gets inside as well. I can size those 50 cases in a third the time it takes with conventional lube and I'm not cleaning the die until I through running a couple hundred cases - less work is a good thing!

  • Hornady Case Lube Spray--Outstanding!!

Have been reloading since 1980 and always did it the old way; rolling the cases on a pad. This spray has changed the game. I spray 50 cases at a time (rifle) and away you go. *** Important to let he spray stay on the cases about 2 minutes before resizing.

  • Quick, convenient. Low residue.

Little bit more cost, but quick, very effective. Very low residual grease left coating brass post operation. Thus no post sizing brass cleaning required.
