Putting the PYLE 100W to good use
We just moved back to the States from Europe and brought back a few electronics we could not give up. So we bought this PYLE 1200 converter. It works great. I bought the lower voltage model at 100W because I was not sure it would meet my expectations. It meets and exceeds. Also a nice compact size. Had I known how much I would like it I would have splashed out for a higher watt model. We have a multi component stereo that is on the high end of its ability, and my son's electric guitar amp that needs something bigger. I made my wife leave her blow dryer in Europe so we didn't have to generate our own electricity! Great product and very affordable. Had I known about this I would have brought one to Europe with me so I could bring a couple of select US electronics like the kids gaming systems that were so expensive to replace (twice now!). There is a switch on the back so you can go USA to foreign, or foreign to USA. Great stuff. Also I can use multiple plugs like charging my phone while I am running my EU hobby lamp. I like it! I buy a lot of conversion stuff due to moves that all come from that great big country far to the east. They usually work but always seem cheap. Not this product. Sorry, I make a mistake. This converter is made in China too.This is the same generic "made in China" converter that you find only the name PYLE has been silkscreen on it. So, the 20 dollar and the 15 dollar converter is the same converter. Unless you like to pay an extra 5 bucks to have a name silkscreen on. Best one on the market
Sturdy voltage converts works perfectly, unlike a lot of the travel models. Its a few dollars more, but its safer to buy this than the travel models because this one has a fuse and its build better so there is less of a fire danger as long as you abide by the voltage limitation of the converter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
