Expensive but excellent, totally worth it.
Expensive but simply excellent. The length of pull and forearm shape are great. Left hand naturally wraps around front of forearm. Height of stock is perfect for slightly taller Tech Sights, which also hold zero well enough. Don't love the sling swivel situation. Haven't tried the Magpul parts. But you can just loop some shoelace or whatever with a knot on one end, and makes great place to attach QD swivel. You can also take a couple turns of shoelace around the barrel and have a place to hook a sling in the conventional hunting rifle configuration. The two to three turns of shoelace or thong around the barrel binds and it won't move. The cargo compartment perfectly sized for a tandem cross doublecross magazine. The quality of the plastic itself is actually rather excellent, prefer it to wood or also excellent Hogue overmold.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing design
A very clever design that maximizes storage in a compact size and yet, very comfortable and functional when assembled. The ability to have three spare mags and extra parts at your fingertips is impressive. Incorrect information about stock on MAGPUL website
Stock fits well and no issues with installation. However the MAGPUL website states that three of the Ruger 10 round magazines can be stored in the stock. This is incorrect, it will only hold two. The forward bay is not deep enough or especially wide enough for the cheek riser to close with a magazine in that location. they will fit in the other two "bays" or the divider can be taken out and a small 50 rd box of ammo can be fitted in. It does have a nice storage compartment in the grip which can be used to store a small multi-tool or multi-bladed pocket knife of about 3 inches in length. I was hoping that the Real Avid 10/22 multi tool would fit in one of the locations, but it is too wide to fit without taking up need space for additional items as it would have to fit in at an angle. Additionally you can use a MAGPUL SL Ext rubber butt pad to increase length of pull by about 1/4 inch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great traveling stock
A darned handy way to keep a 22lr with you. There's plenty of storage too, I keep 2 magazines, a 50 round box of ammo, a pocket knife, the red-dot sight tool, and a spare battery in there. It's a physically comfortable stock to carry and shoot too; ergonomic and lightweight.

Magpul Backpacker
The install only took 2 minutes. The forearm stock was misaligned but that's caused by the block underneath the barrel, not the stock. I gave it a few taps with a rubber mallet and that straightened it. The design is amazing. It can hold three 10rd mags or one mag and a 50rd box of 22lr. The high check rest is much more comfortable than the original.
