The first three batteries (of 24) that I used and attempted to recharge did not. The Everready charger is good quality, It displayed "Bad". I don't know what caused that. I did measure the voltage and got 1.34, which is about what they were when I received. Wish I could have rated zero stars. All of the batteries are basically useless.

This purple generic NiMH purple AA battery claimed to have a capacity of 3000 mAh but compared to En-l--p 2000mAh the purple battery was tested to have a capacity of about 1800 mAh. Short circuit tests on a 10A DMM showed 2 Amps. Battery is also very light compared to Eneloop.

Great deal but on a full charge they did not last one night in my sound machine. Had to recharge again the next day. What do you expect for such a cheap battery was hoping for at least 2-3 days anyway.

These NImh batteries are about half the weight of brand name NImh batteries and they don't last very long. I guess I shouldn't have expected much for $10. But, they are rechargeable.
