For those who have a family member, friend or someone they know has need of a smart voice-enabled device, the 2nd generation Amazon Echo Smart Assistant in a sandstone fabric has many of the features you are likely seeking. It allows any user to have access to information without having to locate or turn on another device like a cell phone or tablet. It also allows you to perform actions related to your home or office, such as turning lights on or off and adjust the thermostat, even if you are not there. Other tasks that the Amazon Echo smart assistant can do when paired up with another device wirelessly, such as through Bluetooth, includes set timers and alarms, turn network-connected devices on and off, and play music or radio stations. If you tell the device the name of a song, artist or style of music, it will not only play that for you but can play it on any related devices in the home. The device also works as a hands-free phone, allowing you to answer and make calls with the sound of your voice. When connected to similar devices, it allows calls to be picked up or transferred to those other devices seamlessly. This 2nd generation Echo comes in sandstone fabric, which makes it ideal for matching your decor or, at the very least, blending into the background of any room you place it in. The Amazon Echo weighs 29 ounces and has dimensions of 5.8 inches by 3.4 inches by 3.4 inches. It features a 0.6-inch tweeter and 2.5-inch woofer for amazing sound quality and is compatible with any Android, iOS, and Fire OS device.

Punchy bass, but not as good as echo dot 3rd gen
i like the echo dot 3rd generation better, and it's less expensive. in my opinion, 3rd gen dot has a more balanced sound, and can adjust the bass, treble, and mid range. no adjustment possible on the echo 2nd gen ! BUT, if you like punchy bass, then this Echo 2nd Gen packs a little more punch than the other echos or echo dots.
